Web.com Tour to begin 2017 with two Wednesday finishes

The Web.com Tour announced its full schedule for the 2017 season, an itinerary that will include 26 tournaments across six different countries.

The season will kick off with a pair of events in the Bahamas that feature some unique scheduling. Both the season-opening Bahamas Grand Exuma Classic and the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic will begin with the opening round on Sunday and conclude with the final round on Wednesday.

The tour will then head to Colombia, Panama, Mexico and the Dominican Republic before kicking off a run of domestic events in 14 straight weeks beginning with the Rex Hospital Open in early June.

The four-event Web.com Tour Finals remain unchanged from last year, with stops in Columbus, Boise and Cleveland before the season concludes with the Web.com Tour Championship at Atlantic Beach Country Club in Atlantic Beach, Fla. Last year’s season finale was cancelled because of Hurricane Matthew, reducing the Finals to only three events.

The top 25 players on the regular-season money list are guaranteed PGA Tour cards for the 2017-18 season, with another 25 cards up for grabs at the Web.com Tour Finals. Here’s a look at the full slate of events for 2017:
