The UCLA Bruins will honor the military this weekend with “Salute to Service” uniforms.
When hosting Oregon State on Saturday, the day after Veterans Day, UCLA will don special jerseys as part of its Military Appreciation Day at the Rose Bowl.
The helmets are especially patriotic:
Saturday we honor our troops, past and present.

According to UCLA’s official athletics website, the school will auction off some of the helmets. The proceeds will go directly to the Volunteers of America’s Blue Butterfly Village, a California organization that funds housing for veterans and their families.
