On Tuesday, President Obama distributed Medals of Freedom to the award winners at a White House ceremony. During the presentation, Obama said some words about the honorees and guests in attendance, including the great Michael Jordan.
While introducing MJ, Obama jokingly referred to him as "the guy from Space Jam"…
… and then, arguably one of the best quotes from any president ever: "MJ is more than just a logo. He’s more than just an internet meme."

Jordan wasn’t the only NBA legend President Obama singled out; he also had some great things to say about former Los Angeles Lakers star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar:
