Ohio State’s Malik Hooker Returns Interception for Touchdown vs. Michigan

Ohio State hasn’t mustered much offense in Week 13’s marquee matchup against Michigan, so Malik Hooker took it upon himself to put the Buckeyes on the board.

Backed up to their own 6-yard line late in the first half, the Wolverines dialed up a play-action pass on first down. As quarterback Wilton Speight released the ball, Buckeyes linebacker Raekwon McMillan hit Speight’s hand.

The derailed pass fluttered in the air, and Hooker capitalized. The sophomore safety collected his sixth interception and third pick-six of the season to help give No. 2 Ohio State a 7-3 lead over No. 3 Michigan.

Jabrill Peppers responded with a 44-yard kickoff return, and the Wolverines exploited the short field to claim a 10-7 edge at halftime.
