Week 11 was a solid bounce-back week for the panel. Chase, Lynch and Smiley all tied for the weekly lead with 11-3 marks, and Lynch increased his overall lead to seven games in the process. He’ll be tough to catch the rest of the way with just six weeks and playoffs to go.
We move on to Week 12, where all 32 teams are in action and so the poor Browns must wait one more week to get a break from their woes. Happy Thanksgiving to all and enjoy the games.
Locks of the Week: A heaping six unanimous picks this week — and we’d have 10 if not for Chris The Renegade Chase coming through like a wrecking ball to the established order. But the panel-wide agreements are the Bills, Dolphins and Saints at home against weaker opponents; the Patriots and the Titans on the road; and the Broncos at home in their big AFC West showdown with the Chiefs.
Bold Choice of the Week: At this point, this has to go to anyone who picks the Browns to win a game. So it’s yours, Chase, for picking Cleveland at home against the 7-3 Giants.
Surprise of the Week: In a game that might be all defense, not a single panelist likes the 7-3 Chiefs to get the Sunday night win in Denver. The Broncos are three-point favorites.
