It's a great week for gambling on the NFL (especially on Thanksgiving)
Truly, this is what the NFL is all about.
All 32 teams are in action in Week 12, with three Thanksgiving Day games on your plate as well. That's all the introduction this week's slate of games needs. We went 8-5-1 last week to bring our season total against the spread to 86-69-5. Here are your Week 12 lines, picks and over/unders.
(Lines courtesy of the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook as of 11/24. Pick listed first, with home team in all caps.)
Vikings (+2.5) over LIONS (Over/under: 41.5)
Weird things happen in Detroit on Thanksgiving. That's not a particuarly analytical way of looking at things, I admit, but Minnesota should be a coin flip in this one, so I'm taking the points.
COWBOYS (-7) over Redskins (Over/under: 52)
Honestly? I think Washington makes this a really compelling Thanksgiving Day game. Like I said last week, though, I'm not betting against the Cowboys.

Steelers (-9) over COLTS (Over/under: 48)
Pittsburgh opened as 3-point favorites before Andrew Luck was ruled out, and I was ready to take the Steelers then. That doesn't change with the Colts QB on the sidelines.

Chargers (-1.5) over TEXANS (Over/under: 46.5)
If you were smart, you got on this one at the start of the week, when the line opened with Houston favored by 1.5 points. Either way, give me San Diego.
Titans (-4.5) over BEARS (Over/under: 42)
“Exotic smashmouth” gets a decisive win over a Bears team that might or might not have QB Jay Cutler on Sunday.

BILLS (-7.5) over Jaguars (Over/under: 45)
I mean, I don't want to lay 7.5 points with Rex Ryan's team, but I'm not betting on Blake Bortles if I can help it.

Bengals (+4) over RAVENS (Over/under: 40.5)
I like Baltimore to win, but this game should be decided by no more than a field goal, even with A.J. Green out for the Bengals.

FALCONS (-4) over Cardinals (Over/under: 50.5)
In our weekly clash of offense vs. defense, I'm rolling with Atlanta. With my luck, though, this will be the week the Cardinals finally let David Johnson carry the load.
DOLPHINS (-7.5) over 49ers (Over/under: 44.5)
Obviously, we're not betting on San Francisco to cover any reasonable line for the foreseeable future, so I'll take a second here to note that Vegas expects a lopsided Week 12. Five of the 16 games feature spreads of 6.5 points or more, including this one.

SAINTS (-7) over Rams (Over/under: 45.5)
While I think L.A.'s defense is fully capable of keeping the Rams in this game, I'm not quite ready to put my money on Jared Goff under center.
Giants (-6.5) over BROWNS (Over/under: 44)
Stop looking so smug, Eli, before you tempt the football gods into delivering an epic New York collapse — and Cleveland's first win of the season.

Seahawks (-5.5) over BUCCANEERS (Over/under: 45)
The Bucs came away with a surprising win over the Chiefs in Week 11. No such luck against the Seahawks, unfortunately.

RAIDERS (-3) over Panthers (Over/under: 49.5)
If the Raiders are really Super Bowl contenders (and for the record, I'm not so sure), they better take care of business at home against Carolina by at least a field goal.
Chiefs (+3.5) over BRONCOS (Over/under: 39.5)
Denver gets the win, but Justin Houston looks like his old self in his second week back and the Chiefs keep this one within a field goal.

Patriots (-7.5) over JETS (Over/under: 47)
The Tom Brady Revenge Tour hasn't fared so well the past two weeks, with a loss and a push. New York should be a nice fix for the Patriots.

EAGLES (-4) over Packers (Over/under: 47.5)
Sorry, Aaron Rodgers. I'm counting on your struggles continuing against the Eagles defense in Philly.
