Wizards guard Bradley Beal was fined $15,000 for "grabbing at the throat" of Evan Fournier, the league announced on Sunday via official release. The incident occurred with 7:40 remaining in the fourth quarter of Washington’s Friday win over the Magic in Orlando.
Both players received technical fouls at the time, but the league clearly realized that Beal’s actions warranted some additional punishment a couple of days later.
