Last Saturday, Joe Thomas Sr. made college football history.
As South Carolina State took on Savannah State, the 55-year-old became the oldest person ever to play Division I football.
The former wrestler, sharecropper and businessman, who was partially deaf as a child, is the father of Green Bay Packers linebacker Joe Thomas Jr. After the recession wiped out his business, Thomas Sr. enrolled at South Carolina State, which his son also attended.
Take a look at his historic outing in this B/R Studios video.
