After the Hoosiers beat UNC, 76-67, on Wednesday, former Hoosier Isiah Thomas had some fun at the expense of former Tar Heel Michael Jordan. Reddit user “Chibooms” captured the moment when Thomas held up a Crying Jordan sign in front of the student section to celebrate the win:

The rivalry between the Bulls and Pistons is well-documented, especially between Jordan and Thomas, the latter of whom was snubbed from the 1992 Olympic Dream Team likely because of Michael Jordan. It’s actually kind of funny seeing the juxtaposition between a happy Isiah Thomas and a crying Michael Jordan.

ESPN’s Jeff Goodman spoke with Thomas about the moment, and he revealed where he got the sign from:
“There were two girls sitting behind me, two IU students, and one of them handed it to me,” Thomas said. “I knew the crowd would go crazy — and they did when I held it up.”
Thomas and Jordan have had their friction over the course of their NBA careers, but Thomas described their relationship as “friendly.”
“I love just being a fan,” he added. “It was fun.”
