Junior cornerback Holton Hill carried the first half of the game for the No. 23 Texas Longhorns on Saturday, scoring both of the team’s touchdowns vs. the Maryland Terrapins.
He got things rolling with a 31-yard pick-six off quarterback Tyrrell Pigrome with 13:50 remaining in the first quarter at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
Then with about six minutes to play before halftime, his teammate Poona Ford blocked Maryland’s field goal, and Hill scooped up the ball to take it 65 yards to the house.
