Fox Sports Brasil was supposed to broadcast the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final between Atletico Nacional and Chapecoense on Wednesday, however the match was suspended after Chapecoense’s plane tragically crashed on the way to Colombia. In lieu of alternative coverage, Fox Sports Brasil honored the victims of the fatal plane crash with a 90-minute moment of silence.
Fox Sports Brasil aired this for the duration of the broadcast window, showing messages that read: "In this difficult moment, every message is like a hug" and "You embrace us and help us to gather all the pieces of our hearts."
