The Miami Dolphins placed Jordan Cameron on injured reserve Saturday, and the 28-year-old tight end reportedly is considering retirement after four concussions in four years.

Cameron hasn’t played since Week 3. A Pro Bowler for Cleveland in 2013, Cameron has 43 catches for 446 yards and four TDs in 19 games with Miami.

Cameron has been seeing a concussion specialist in Pittsburgh and said this week he was improving and he hoped to return this season. But now Cameron is considering retirement, the Miami Herald’s Armando Salguero reports, and a source confirmed it to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

His $15 million, two-year contract expires after this season.
