Euro Tour using rooftop tee in Turkey

The European Tour is getting a little creative with course setup this week at the Turkish Airlines Open.

The 78-man event marks the first of three tournaments in the circuit’s revamped Final series, and this week will shift from the Montgomerie Maxx Royal to the Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort.

The golf-spa mix will be especially visible this week on the 16th hole, where players will tee off from a grass-covered roof of one of the resort’s villas, complete with a swimming pool below the players:

Victor Dubuisson will defend his title in Antalya against a field depleted by a string of recent withdrawals, but one that still boasts Masters champ Danny Willett and Lee Westwood.
