The Chicago Cubs broke the longest dry spell in professional sports Wednesday night in Cleveland when they beat the Cleveland Indians, 8-7, in 10 innings to win Game 7 of the World Series.
The thrilling victory made the Cubs the champions of Major League Baseball for the first time since 1908.
