Cowboys’ Randy Gregory, suspended for drugs, reportedly fails another test

Dallas defensive end Randy Gregory, who’s been suspended for the first 14 games this season for failing two drug tests, has failed another test — his fifth as a member of the Cowboys — and is facing a year-long ban, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported.

Gregory, who fell to a second-round selection in the 2015 draft due to flunking his drug test at the Combine, has 11 tackles in 12 games. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wasn’t willing to address Gregory’s status with the team during his current suspension, and a year-long ban can only hurt the 23-year-old’s chances of returning to the team.

The Cowboys declined to comment.
