On Thanksgiving Day, Cavaliers center Channing Frye announced the passing of his father, Thomas Frye, which tragically comes less than a month after his mother, Karen Mulzac-Frye, lost her battle with cancer.

"Be thankful for the person next to you. My father passed away today. Y’all better love on your family," Frye wrote in an Instagram post. He will miss Friday night’s home contest against the Mavericks, according to a team release.
