Battle 4 Atlantis 2016: Bracket, schedule, teams, and scores

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The Battle 4 Atlantis has established itself as one of college basketball’s most exciting early season tournaments by bringing a strong field and great atmosphere to the Bahamas every November. That won’t change this year as eight top programs will again help turn the grand ballroom at Imperial Arena into a basketball stadium for three days of hoops.

The last two years the winner of the Battle 4 Atlantis has gone on to make the Final Four. In 2014, Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker helped Wisconsin over Buddy Hield and Oklahoma, while last season’s tournament saw Syracuse outlast Texas A&M in the title game. Six of the eight teams at last year’s event went on to make the NCAA Tournament.

The Battle 4 Atlantis has another quality field lined for for 2016, led by Michigan State and Louisville. The Spartans have a star freshman in Miles Bridges, but they’ve struggled to find their stride as a team during a 2-2 start. Louisville is 3-0 thanks to a balanced attack that currently has four players averaging double figures in scoring.

Every team is guaranteed three games at the event. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2016 Battle 4 Atlantis:
