Most wins
Not only did Jimmie Johnson win his seventh NASCAR Premier Series title at Hometead-Miami Speedway a week ago, but he also earned his first victory at the South Florida track.
The win was the 80th of his legendary career, as he is solidly first among active, full-time drivers with the most Cup wins.
Take a look at who else makes the top 20 on the all-time wins list:
T-20. Trevor Bayne, 1
Bayne's 2011 Daytona 500 victory in his first try at it was the Wood Brothers' first win in NASCAR's biggest race since David Pearson accomplished the feat in 1976.
It was also the team's first Cup win since Elliott Sadler rolled the iconic No. 21 into Victory Lane in the 2001 spring race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

T-20. Aric Almirola, 1
In the iconic No. 43 made famous by team owner and seven-time NASCAR Premier Series champion Richard Petty, Almirola won a rain-shortened Coke Zero 400 at Daytona Internationnal Speedway in 2014.
The win punched his ticket into the Chase for the Sprint Cup in the inaugural season for the elimination-style format.
T-20. AJ Allmendinger, 1
In his first full-time season with JTG Daugherty Racing, Allmendinger showed his road-course prowess by edging out Marcos Ambrose to win at Watkins Glen in 2014.

T-15. Martin Truex, Jr., 7
The 2016 Cup Series was a breakout year for Truex, winning two of NASCAR's “Triple Crown” races, the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
T-15. Jamie McMurray, 7
In 2010, McMurray won two of NASCAR's biggest races, the Daytona 500 and the Brickyard 400.

14. Clint Bowyer, 8
Bowyer's last victory came in the 2012 fall race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the No. 15 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota.
After a difficult 2016 season in a one-year deal with HScott Motorsports, Bowyer can now put all that behind him and focus on winning more races in the No. 14 Ford Fusion for Stewart-Haas Racing in 2017.

T-11. Ryan Newman, 17
In his final season for Stewart-Haas Racing, Newman won the 2013 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
After moving to Richard Childress Racing in 2014, Newman has failed to put the No. 31 in Victory Lane.
T-11. Joey Logano, 17
Logano's 17th career Cup victory came in epic fashion, winning the 2016 fall race at Phoenix International Raceway to earn a spot in the final round of Chase for the Sprint Cup at Homestead, where he finished second to seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson.
T-11. Kasey Kahne, 17
In his first season with Hendrick Motorsports, Kahne won the 2012 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte.
Kahne's last victory came in the 2014 race at Atanta Motor Speedway.
After a lackluster 2016 season, he and the No. 5 team are looking to turn it around in 2017.

10. Greg Biffle, 19
Biffle scored the 100th victory for Roush Fenway Racing and team owner Jack Roush in the 2013 Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
That was also the site of his last Cup win.
After RFR announced he would not return to the No. 16 in 2017, Biffle has yet to reveal what the future holds.
9. Brad Keselowski, 21
Keselowski's first victory came in the 2009 spring race at Talldega in a thrilling finish that saw Carl Edwards fly into the catchfence coming to the finish line.
Since then, he has earned three more wins at 'Dega and four total on restrictor-plate tracks.

8. Dale Earnhardt, Jr., 26
Earnhardt's 26 career victories include two Daytona 500 wins in 2004 and 2014.
In total, he leads all active drivers with 10 wins on restrictor-plate tracks.
After missing half of the 2016 season due to a concussion, Earnhardt is set to test in December and January in preparation for his return to Cup competition in 2017.
T-6. Carl Edwards, 28
Edwards won the 2015 Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway in his first season with Joe Gibbs Racing.
He finished the 2016 season with three wins on the year (Bristol, Richmond and Texas).

5. Denny Hamlin, 29
The biggest of Hamlin's career victories would have to be the 2016 Daytona 500, where he edged out Martin Truex Jr. by 0.010 seconds — the closest finish in the race's history.
4. Kevin Harvick, 35
The 2014 Premier Series champion has won big races over the course of his career, including the 2003 Brickyard 400, 2007 Daytona 500, the Coca-Cola 600 (2011 and 2013) and the 2014 Southern 500.
T-2. Matt Kenseth, 38
Since joining Joe Gibbs Racing in 2013, Kenseth has 14 victories in the No. 20 Toyota.

T-2. Kyle Busch, 38
The 2015 champ's impressive Premier Series resume includes back-to-back Brickyard 400 victories in 2015 and 2016.
1. Jimmie Johnson, 80
Johnson surpassed the late Dale Earnhardt for seventh on the all-time NASCAR wins list with a victory at Auto Club Speedway in 2016.
And in the championship race at Homestead a week ago, Johnson earned his record-tying seventh Premier Series championship, joining Richard Petty and Earnhardt at the top of the list.
Without a doubt, “Seven-time” will add many more to this total before he calls it a career.
