Rob Gronkowski and Derek Carr are among the names to watch
Who are the big names shuffling in and out of lineups in Week 13 of the NFL season? Let's take a look at some status updates for key players across the league.

Derek Carr, QB, Raiders (finger)
Carr suffered a pretty gruesome dual-dislocation of his pinky finger during the third quarter of Sunday's comeback win over the Panthers. He missed a series but eventually returned to the game and still managed to be effective with the help of a throwing glove for grip. He'll likely play this weekend against the Bills, but it will be interesting to see whether the injury affects his ability to throw the ball.

Rob Gronkowski, TE, Patriots (back)
Gronk entered Sunday's game against the Jets dealing with a chest injury but exited in the first quarter with a curious back injury. He didn't return, and little information has been provided in the days since. It doesn't seem like he'll be a lock to play this weekend against the Rams, but at this point, Pats fans have to be more worried about his long-term status.

Chris Ivory, RB, Jaguars (hamstring)
Ivory looked to be on pace for a big game against the Bills on Sunday, carrying the ball nine times for 44 yards and a touchdown while also adding one catch — all in the first quarter. But then he went down with a hamstring injury and didn't return to the game. He's listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Denver, so keep an eye on his progress throughout the week.

Jordan Reed, TE, Redskins (shoulder)
Reed was a Thanksgiving standout for Washington despite separating his left shoulder in the first half. He played through the injury and recorded 10 catches, 95 yards and 2 TDs in a gutsy performance. That being said, the injury isn't to be taken lightly and there's still doubt about his status for Sunday's game at Arizona.

Lamar Miller, RB, Texans (ankle)
Miller exited Sunday's loss to the Chargers with less a minute remaining in the game after tweaking his ankle on a short reception. He limped off the field, but there hasn't been much of an update regarding the injury or his status since, so keep tabs on his week of practice leading up to Houston's game against the Packers this weekend.

Devante Parker, WR, Dolphins (back)
Parker was injured after landing hard on his back during a third-quarter target, and he did not return. After the game, Parker was seen in a back brace but insisted that the ailment was “nothing.” It's not believed to be overly serious, but keep an eye on him throughout the week with a Sunday matchup against Balitmore looming.

T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts (back)
Hilton left Thursday night's game against the Steelers and didn't return after taking a big hit in the third quarter. He's optimistic that he can play Monday against the Jets, but he missed Indy's first practice this week. Even if he is cleared, he'll face some tough matchups if he's not 100 percent.

Ronald Darby, CB, Bills (concussion)
Darby took a knee to the head when Chris Ivory tried to hurdle him Sunday. He was later diagnosed with a concussion, which means he'll have to pass through protocol before the Bills travel to Oakland for their game against the Raiders.

Allen Hurns, WR, Jaguars (hamstring)
Hurns suffered an injury during his only catch — a 12-yard touchdown — on Sunday, grabbing his hamstring as soon as he crossed the goal line. He didn't return to the game and is questionable to play this weekend against the Broncos, though he's typically been reliable throughout his career. If he can't go, Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee should see increased workloads.

Patrick Peterson, CB, Cardinals (knee)
Peterson injured his knee while trying to block Julio Jones during an interception return during the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Falcons. He played through it and was somewhat effective, though he admitted to being in a significant amount of pain after the game. The Cardinals have enough issues as it is, so if Peterson can't suit up for this week's game against Washington it will be even more bad news.
