Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Jets (knee)
The Jets’ starting QB suffered a knee injury toward the end of the third quarter Sunday against the Dolphins, but it’s not quite clear how serious it is. Coach Todd Bowles confirmed that it was a sprained knee ligament but wouldn’t specify whether it was an MCL injury, which had been previously reported. He also wouldn’t rule Fitzpatrick out for Week 10 against the Rams but said that Bryce Petty would be ready to make his first career start if called upon.

Derek Wolfe, DE, Broncos (elbow)
Wolfe suffered an elbow injury in the third quarter of Sunday's loss at Oakland and did not return to the game. The Broncos are hoping it’s not too serious, but coach Gary Kubiak said the injury is still being evaluated and wouldn’t rule out the possibility of surgery. Based on that, it seems safe to anticipate that Wolfe won’t be suiting up this weekend against the Saints.

Justin Pugh, OL, Giants (knee)
The Giants lost one of their top offensive linemen Sunday when Pugh went down with a sprained knee. The good news is that Pugh’s injury is not expected to be season-ending, but the bad news is that it’s serious enough to keep him sidelined for several weeks. Those are some serious shoes for the Giants to fill up front.

Victor Cruz, WR, Giants (ankle)
Cruz sprained his ankle on a 46-yard catch in the second quarter of Sunday's win over the Eagles and he didn’t return to the game. It’s believed to be a low ankle sprain, which puts him in a decent position to play Monday night when the Giants take on the Bengals. He’s underwent an MRI early in the week, so keep an eye on any updates.

Alex Smith, QB, Chiefs (head/ear)
The Chiefs managed to squeak out an ugly victory over Jacksonville with Nick Foles under center last weekend, but they expect Smith to be back at QB when they take on Carolina in Week 10. Smith is still recovering from a couple of blows to the head during Kansas City’s win against the Colts a couple weeks ago, but coach Andy Reid feels confident he’ll be good to go for Sunday “as long as there are no setbacks.”

Spencer Ware, RB, Chiefs (concussion)
The Chiefs’ leading rusher sat out Sunday’s game against the Jaguars after suffering a concussion the previous weekend. Coach Andy Reid is a bit more optimistic that he’ll be OK to go this weekend but says Ware still needs to pass through the league’s concussion protocol before he’s cleared to play against the Panthers.

Jeremy Maclin, WR, Chiefs (groin)
Maclin entered Sunday’s game with a lingering groin issue and tried to play through it but couldn’t. He went to the sideline during the opening quarter and didn’t return to the game. Kansas City is hoping that he’ll be able to make a full recovery for Sunday’s big contest against the Panthers.

Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR, Steelers (ankle/foot)
The Steelers have been dealing with injuries to their receiving corps all year, and this is just the latest name to be added to the list. Heyward-Bey went down with an ankle or foot injury during the second quarter Sunday, leaving Pittsburgh thin on potential targets in the passing game. Keep an eye on any developments from the Steelers’ camp this week, as Pittsburgh faces the NFC-leading Cowboys in Week 10.

Allen Hurns, WR, Jaguars (concussion)
Hurns suffered a concussion Sunday after hitting his head on the turf against the Chiefs, which means that he’ll have to swiftly clear protocol if he hopes to play this weekend. Hurns is leading the team with 443 receiving yards, so look for Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee to pick up the workload if Hurns can’t go against the Texans.

Derrick Henry, RB, Titans (calf)
The Titans’ rookie running back injured himself while warming up for Sunday's game against the Chargers and didn’t play at all. An MRI revealed that Henry strained his left calf, and his status is currently unknown. Tennessee coach Mike Mularkey said Henry could be day-to-day or could miss a few weeks depending on his pain tolerance, so it’ll be key to monitor his week in practice. The Titans face the Packers on Sunday.
