Looks like our 5 1/2 million dollar Coach is OVERRATED! Offense is still HORRIBLE and MORAL VICTORIES DON'T COUNT!!! https://t.co/7vpGmazSRH
The Texas Longhorns came up short in their upset bid Saturday afternoon with a 13-10 overtime loss to No. 10 Oklahoma State. But Derrick Foreman, father of Texas receiver Armanti Foreman, wasn’t interested in calling it a moral victory.
Foreman sounded off on head coach Tom Herman in a series of tweets in which he called Herman overrated and questioned his ability to rebuild the program:
Y'all can let Herman sell yall this REBUILDING crap! Talent is there on Offense and Defense! He refuse to USE ALL TALENT and its showing!
All you HERMAN APOLOGIST don't like me for being HONEST! Offense is HORRIBLE! Defense is LEGIT and practice means MORE than WINNING GAMES!
That’s just a small sample from Foreman’s rant, but you can read it all on his Twitter account.
It’s possible Foreman’s anger stems from his son’s being buried on the Texas depth chart in recent weeks. After playing a large role in the offense during the first few games, Armanti hasn’t caught a pass since September 28 against Iowa State.
